The end of 2022 was celebrated by 24 of our members at the Redland Bay Golf Club on Tuesday 13th December. Table decorations and bon bons are provided by the club and lunch includes a two choice meal, this year chicken or ham with roast veges etc and two choices of dessert, Rocky Road or Sticky Date Pudding. As the serving is by alternate drop most were happy with what they received and if not then free to swap with a colleague. With tea and coffee also provided there was plenty to please the palate.

The flowers were a brooch and the little books held a box of matches. Charlotte lives on one of the islands in Moreton Bay and her comment was that ‘you never know when there will be a blackout’.
Thank you Charlotte for your kind gift, we all went away with a pretty keepsake.

We had quite a few missing for various reasons, some good (on holiday) and some not so good (illness etc) so to all our members and extended friends we send special thoughts and wishes for a safe and happy Christmas and a yarn filled New Year.
May 2023 hold lots of interesting experiences for us all.
